I know it’s been a while again, but we’ve been busy & I’m really trying to focus on getting the kids’s school done (and our internet gets worse everyday & I’m done giving myself ulcers trying to do things with it). We did manage to get Molly back in the stall & got a halter on her on Sunday. Joel bribed her with the cracked corn that I buy for the chickens. I had no intention of ever giving my cow corn! She thinks it’s pure cane sugar & can’t get enough. So much for my good intentions!!
The girls got baptized on Saturday night (with 16 other people including 4 others from our Life Group) & it was the most incredible experience for the whole church.
I can’t begin to tell you how amazed I am at the annointing that God has placed on my little girl. HE has such big plans for her!! Sunday night in her Mpact class she was sharing about her baptism experience & then lined the girls up, knocked ’em down & 4 of the 6 got filled with the Holy Spirit & started speaking in tongues. It was amazing. We learned last night at a leader’s meeting that the entire Kid Harvest on Wednesday night had a similar experience with more kids baptized in the spirit. God is shaping a revival at our church, and I shake my head in wonder that HE has allowed us to be a part of it.
That really is the extent of what’s going on on the homestead. School is going well, my two molting chickens have their feathers mostly grown back (they no longer look like they forgot 1/2 their prom dress!), and the other 3 look ready to lose their feathers as soon as the weather gets cold. I sure do miss having fesh eggs. It will be time to update the flock next year and add a rooster, too. We want to see if we can have a broody who will hatch some eggs for us. Looks like we’ll need to expand the chicken coop, dear 🙂
Have a blessed weekend!
