Psalm 27:4 "One thing have I desired; that will I seek after. That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life."

I Stand in Awe of YOU!

“I stand, I stand in awe of You.  Holy God to Whom all praise is due, I stand in awe of You!”

Words have so often failed me in the last 36 hours.  God is so amazing.  Some of you know that Joel’s dad had a mild heart attack last November & then had by-pass surgery in December.  A few weeks ago his dad had gone in to have surgery on one of the arteries from his by-pass because there was blockage there.  The doctor closed him up and said there was nothing they could do.  It couldn’t be repaired.

Saturday night of Camp Meeting we gathered at Poalris and had a time of prayer before the satellite feed came in from the East campus.  Just before service started Pastor Larry had a gentleman come up who shared how he had had inoperable blockage in the arteries around his heart.  God had miraculously healed him and his heart was well.  Pastor Larry had him pray for people with heart conditions.  Joel & I both grabbed on to that prayer believing for his dad.

Service started and we were singing & worshipping and I got this intense, burning sensation just above my heart.  I thought, “Lord, what in the world is this?!!”  After a couple of minutes it got really warm and then it faded away.  I knew as soon as the feeling left; I knew in my spirit.  I thought, “Someone in our family just got a healing in their heart!”  (That was July 3rd).

This Tuesday (July 13th), Joel’s dad went to see the cardiologist and THERE WAS NO BLOCKAGE!!!  He told Dad to go mow the lawn and do what he wants to do.  Joel’s dad told his mom, “I got a miracle.”  Joel’s brother called around 8:30 to tell us and I barely stopped myself from screaming in his ear.  Our Life Group was still going on and I took the call and I came hopping & squealling back into the house.  Bob said he didn’t know if I was going fall down or they’d have to lay hands on me or what.  I was shaking trying to tell them what had just been confirmed.  Joel and about half of our Life Group had gone to a taping of Breakthrough, so he wasn’t there.  After the Life Group left, I couldn’t stop praying.   I was walking around outside with the mosquitoes (waiting for Joel to come home) and alternating between a flood of prayer and being absolutely speechless.

“Our God is greater, our God is stronger.  God, you are higher than any other.  Our God is Healer, awesome in power, our God.  Our God.”

And THAT’S What’s Happening on the Homestead!
