Psalm 27:4 "One thing have I desired; that will I seek after. That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life."

I Hate Plastic!!

I hate plastic!  The lid to the tub that I keep the chicken feed in fell over this morning and hit the cement in the workshop & broke.  Now I have a piece out of the rim that is big enough to let a mouse in.  The "barn" cat has taken up residence in the garage (where he had an eventful night when one of my Diet Coke cans exploded!), so he’s not much good in the mouse department outside.  Darn cat.  I guess I’ll have to use some of Joel’s beloved duct tape to fix my lid.  I don’t like broken stuff!

On a happier note:  Karra is now a blogger all on her own.  I gave her her own blog on homeschoolblogger and she’s off and running.  She wanted a place to talk about her birds & flower beds.  It will give her a place to post pictures of Little Baa with her flowers (and rant about my chickens in her flowers).  We’ll try to put a picture of Stephanie on her avatar.  She forgot to send the entry to her (very short) mailing list, so I told her that I’d give her a plug from here, so the grandparents know where to find her.

Sigh**  My little girl is growing up!

And that’s what’s happening on the homestead.

  2. I am still laughing at the story about the cat in he garage as a can of coke exploded. LOL Sorry, but that is too funny.
